From the perspective of SEO and where to focus our efforts let us not belabor the how&#8217;s and why&#8217;s, but simply accept the facts. As the sportscasters often say, &#8220;the numbers don&#8217;t lie.&#8221; Check out the two charts below showing the distribution of search engine popularity in 2006 and 2010. As you can see Google is in fact the Lebron James of the world wide web so we may as well embrace it.  If nothing else this will give you a better perspective as to why all the SEO and web marketing instruction seems to revolve around Google.</p>
